Berg + Betts

New Year's resolutions are in full swing and let me tell you, I've got a long list of goals for 2018. And while I won't go into all the boring details, I've come to realize that most of them involve some sort of time management. I wanted a way to keep track of my day without relying on my phone, mainly because every time I pull it out I seem to automatically open Instagram. So I was thrilled when I got connected with Berg + Betts; a watch company based out of Canada.

But turns out, they aren't just another watch company! Berg + Betts' entire business model centers around sustainability. Their leather wrist bands are made from surplus leather; The scraps of fabric left over from shoe makers and clothing manufacturers that would otherwise be wasted gets recycled and reshaped into gorgeously simple wrist wear.

Not only do I love the classic feel of all of their watches, but I'm a huge fan in supporting businesses that strive to make a difference in the community. When you go to their website, Berg + Betts breaks down their mission statements- their commitment to sustainability and commitment to ethical manufacturing, including why they choose their manufacturers and the ripple effects of their partnerships. You can read their full mission statement here.

Whether or not you've made you list of New Year's resolutions (and whether or not you've already given up on all of them) I encourage you to add one more to your list. Find ways to make an impact. It doesn't matter what that means to you; volunteering, donating to a charity, or supporting brands that give back. It doesn't have to be a big gesture but even something so small as wearing a watch can impact an entire community of people.

Berg + Betts is so nice and wanted to give my readers a little something too! So shop the watches below using promo code: LOLLYGOLIGHTLY and get 20% off your purchase!
